Warrior  Run  Mural

The mural is unique and remarkable in that it was created through the active participation of all students and faculty in the school district and the help of many community members. This masterpiece, created during the 2013-14 school year, covers 4,700 square feet and depicts the history of Warrior Run from the early 1700s to the present time.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: 

Jonathan Laidacker was the artist in residency in the school year 2013-14. He graduated from Warrior Run in 2000, and went on to acquire a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art, from Mansfield University and received a Masters in Fine Arts from The Pennsylvania Academy.  A few of his most famous murals include “How Philly Moves,” “Growth of a Metropolis,” and of course, the “Warrior Run Mural.” He was inducted in the WR Hall of Fame in 2016.
